Description:
Coulston Park is the recreational hub in Tangambalanga. It is home to the Tangambalanga Tennis Club, Kiewa Bowls Club, Kiewa-Sandy Creek Football and Netball Clubs known as ‘The Hawks’, Tangambalanga Cricket Club, Tangambalanga Skate Bowl, and the Tangambalanga Community Centre which provides a central venue for community events and functions. It is host to bi-weekly exercise classes, Club Connection for the older citizens in the community, RSL meetings, and a monthly community lunch.
The 26 panel, 4.94kW ZEN Home Energy System was installed on the Kiewa Bowls Club building which also houses the Kiewa and Sandy Creek Netball Club change rooms. The large lights that illuminate the football field and netball courts for training sessions are high energy users. The historical energy usage at Coulston Park is an average of 102.3kWh/day, whilst the 4.94kW system is estimated to generate an average of 20.6kWh/day or 20% of the daily usage. The savings from the system will benefit all of the clubs at Coulston Park.
