Description:
Mansfield Library is part of the High Country Library Corporation (along with five other towns) and has been in its current location on the corner of High and Collopy Streets since 1988. It is open to the public 6 days per week offering free internet access and WiFi, DVDs, talking books, magazines and, of course, books.
The main appliances within the library consist of extensive fluorescent tube lighting, 10 desktop computers, server, photocopier, Nintendo Wii, TV, a small fridge and microwave for staff and a newly-installed 18kW reverse-cycle air conditioning unit. It’s estimated that the ZEN Home Energy System will generate approximately 40% of the Library’s overall electricity needs. |
