The University of Derby is committed to becoming a more

to achieve this we need to harness the support and
enthusiasm of our staff and student community to
deliver change.

Here at the University, we are fully aware of the impact
we have on the environment and as a result, are continually
seeking ways to reduce it. Now more than ever there is a
growing need to reduce the resources we consume and the
waste we produce to ensure a sustainable future. In order
to focus our attention we have set ourselves a series of
challenging targets for energy, water and waste
reduction, all of which will reduce our carbon footprint.
