This site provides a glimpse at the power being generated by my
rooftop solar array. This array was put into service on 9/29/2009.
Dollar estimates are based on $0.09 / kWH average. The array
consists of 20 solar panels (pictured below) mounted on my roof
and connected to a power inverter that converts the DC power
coming from the panels into the AC power used by my house.
Excess power is sold back to the electric company through the
system's connection to the grid.
