Description:

Banksia Park Primary School has two separate solar generation systems that are interconnected to our Sunny Webbox.

The first is a 1.92kW system that was installed in June 2008. It was funded jointly by the Sustainable Energy Development Office (an initiative of the Western Australian State Government's Office of Energy) and our school. It has 32 thin film photovoltaic cells. This is shown as Inverter 1.

The second is a 6.0kW system that was funded by Australian Government's National Solar Schools Program. This was installed in October 2009 and has an array of 30 photovaoltaic cells. This is shown as Inverter 2.
