Description:
In May 2012 Autonomous Energy installed a 6.8kW solar power system at Lane Cove Council's Kindy Cove.
The system comprises of 36 x 190W mono-crystalline PV solar modules manufactured by ET-Solar. The array is mounted on engineered, solar specific mounting equipment and is connected to a SMA inverter via premium quality (USE2 rated) DC solar cabling. The inverter connects to the electricity network via a digital bi-directional meter which enables Kindy Cove to use the solar electricity on site first and export any excess energy produced to the electricity network.
A solar data monitoring system has also been installed at Kindy Cove to log and display a range of inputs and outputs from the inverter. This information is displayed on this dedicated web portal.
