Gee-Tek (Piers) Overview
Gee-Tek Pty Ltd (Piers)
This is a system I designed for my family home in Belmont. The solar panels on produce a
percentage of our electricity needs. The system consists of:
990W BP SOLAR SYSTEM
- (6) BP3165N Solar Modules
- SMA/BP SOLAR SB1700 Inverter
- SMA Webbox
- SMA Meterbox
The solar panels are Australian BP Solar 165W Modules. The system was commissioned
in September 08.
NEWS:
16/9/09 A SMA- meterbox was added to monitor the house electricity consumption. A comparison
between the electricity our house uses (red) and what the solar generates (blue) can be seen in
the graph below.
