Description:

The Solar Photovoltaic System was installed at Christ Church Rayleigh during November 2011. The 52 panels on the south facing roof of the main church building have a maximum power output of 9.88KWp. The system was installed in response to members' concerns over the causes and effects of climate change. Reduciong the carbon footprint of our building and making it more energy sustainable for the future is part of an on-going commitment to embrace a more ethical and sustainable way of life both as individules and as a church.
