Description:

The Photovoltaic Generator was installed on St Michaels and All Angels Church, Ledbury during December 2010.

There are 18 modules installed on the North Aisle Roof and 36 modules installed on the south Aisle Roof, totalling 54 modules with a maximum power output of 9.9 kilowatts peak power. The modules are secured using a specially made mounting bracket to which a framework is bolted onto.
The modules are then mounted and secured onto this frame work.

It is expected that the system will produce approximately 1/3 of the church's electricity consumption, generating around 8500 Kilowatt hours per year. Together with the feed-in-tariff, this system will generate more income than the church spends on electricity, helping to save money and thus preserve this beautiful building for the local community to enjoy for many years to come.

Here at Clear Focus HQ, we were proud to have been able to install such a system on this fantastic building and look forward to seeing the results over the coming years. These results are automatically sent to this website via an internet connected monitoring system which enables Clear Focus to ensure maximum possible generation is being achieved at all times.
