Description:
The Freeport Public Library's 10.1 kilowatt PV solar electricity system. This system consists of (44) 230 watt Canadian Solar solar modules, and (2) Sunny Boy 5000US solar grid tied inverters. The solar inverters convert DC power made by the solar modules on the roof into AC power which can be used to power the library. This system is expected to produce over 12,000 kilowatt hours per year!
