Description:
Reutech plant consists of:
QTY 66 Solarworld SW220 panels feeding 3 x sunnyboy 5000TL inverters, 22 panels per inverter a total of 14520 Watts peak
QTY 36 Solaire SD610 245W panels feeding 3 x sunnyboy 3000TL inverters, 12 panels per inverter a total of 8820 Watts peak
12 of these panels and 1 sunnyboy 3000TL are connected to a single axsis tracker, this is to evaluate the power production of
fixed versus tracked PV using identical systems.
QTY 1 Solfocus 8.4KW CPV tracker feeding 1 sunny tripower STP15000TL inverter
QTY 1 Concentrix (Soitec) CPV traker 6.4KW, this tracker has its own inverter and does not form part of the SMA network
Site is a R&D site and was commisioned in April 2011.
The fixed panels are situated on the roof of Nashua Mobile head office in Midrand, these panels are angled at 25 degrees and face due north.
The 2 CPV trackers and the single axsis PV tracker are on the ground adjacent to the Nashua head office building.
