Reducing our CO2 footprint...
Since 1891, The Trustees of Reservations has been saving the Massachusetts landscape for people to enjoy. We are a nonprofit organization supported by 100,000 people like you! Our goal for the organization is to be carbon neutral by 2017.
The 18,000 sf Doyle Conservation Center (DCC) is home to mission critical resource protection programs of The Trustees of Reservations. The sustainably built building recently received a gold rating from the United States Green Building Council. Roof-mounted photovoltaic panels provide 25% of the building’s electricity.
There are 144 Sanyo panels with 33.8 Kwh of production capacity.
In over four years we have produced over 130
ega watts of energy which is roughly $75,000 or a reduction in over 20 tons of CO2.
Below on the left is a table showing current power production for the day, month, and year. Below is a chart showing monthly power production for past two months.
