Greenman Solar Array (for the Amusement of Alpacas), Haguelands Village, Burmarsh Kent

The Greenman Solar Alpaca Array at Haguelands Village, Burmarsh, Kent, is engineered using 54 x Fire Energy 185W M modules, feeding into three SMA 3000TL-30 inverters, each connected into its own separate phase.

Due the sunny microclimate on Romney Marsh, the Alpaca Array is predicted to produce some 12,000kWh per annum, which is approximately 20% higher than normal for this lovely part of England.

Haguelands Village is an eclectic surprise, with something for all the family. As well as being a full working farm with its own herd of amazing alpacas, it also sports a superb bistro, one of the best stocked farm shops you will find anywhere, a full range of Alpaca Annie products from her own hand reared alpacas. There is also a fish market, hairdressers, the home of Romney Marsh FM and The Looker publication.
